    On peut lire sur
    http://www.lexpress.mu/story/12254-sondage-une-etude-de-tns-analysis-revele-que-79-des-internautes-preferent-lexpress-mu.html

      @ Sky
I just checked the article and it seems you missed this part “13e place des sites visités par les internautes basés à Maurice” so technically, they are right. However, they do not point out that Orange is the first purely Mauritian site as it comes out 10th in Alexa’s ranking (see http://www.alexa.com/topsites/countries/MU). They preferred to cite the TNS poll which says they are far ahead in terms of penetration in Mauritius based on population samples whereas the Alexa ranking looks at real traffic. This is indeed playing around with the information… Factually correct but not the whole picture. Having said that, they do have a good PageRank (6) same as Orange. I can imagine they are trying to market their online advertising packages and it makes sense from a business perspective. I am pretty sure the others (Matinal, Defi, Mauricien) would do the same if they could.
Which brings me back to the issue of the reliability of polls, especially when they are commissioned.
